Endpoints and Region¶
Cloud4You OCS provides one main endpoint and regional endpoints.
Recommended endpoint
For most configurations, use the main endpoint:
This is the default and recommended address for accessing Cloud4You OCS.

Which endpoint should I use?¶
If your application does not require a connection to a specific location, use:
This applies to:
- backup systems,
- AWS CLI,
- rclone,
- applications using the S3 API,
- libraries and SDKs compatible with the Amazon S3 API.
Use the regional endpoints:
only when you intentionally need to connect an application to a specific location or when Cloud4You has provided such a configuration.
Do not choose a regional endpoint unless necessary
If you do not have a specific reason to use the WAW or JAW endpoint, configure the application with https://s3.cloud4you.pl.
Region¶
The default Cloud4You OCS region is:

A typical application configuration for Cloud4You OCS looks like this:

You receive the Access Key and Secret Key when the service is activated.
